At Go Mapi Travel Agency, we firmly adhere to the Code of Conduct for the Prevention of Sexual Exploitation of Girls, Boys, and Adolescents (ESNNA, for its Spanish acronym). With this commitment, we assume the responsibility of implementing constant and effective actions to combat this issue.
As a travel agency and tour operator, we commit before GERCETUR to respect and comply with the principles and responsibilities established in this Code, as well as the provisions of the General Tourism Law and its regulations to prevent ESNNA.
Our Actions
We provide training and awareness programs to our entire team—administrative, operational, and sales—to actively contribute to the elimination of commercial sexual exploitation.
At Go Mapi Travel Agency, no member of our team will be involved in or tolerate practices related to:
- Exploitation of girls, boys, and adolescents in pornographic activities.
- Sex tourism.
- Trafficking of minors for the purpose of commercial sexual exploitation.
Commitment with our Partners
Likewise, we train and raise awareness among all our stakeholders: guides, cooks, drivers, porters, rural community tourism companies, hotels, hostels, restaurants, and other strategic partners. All of them commit to rejecting and reporting any act related to:
- Exploitation of girls, boys, and adolescents in pornographic activities.
- Sex tourism.
- Trafficking of minors for the purpose of commercial sexual exploitation.
Furthermore, we promote and enforce the Code of Conduct for Suppliers of Go Mapi Travel Agency, ensuring that the entire tourism value chain respects these principles and reports any case of commercial sexual exploitation to the competent authorities.
