About the Tour
- We begin this unique experience with pickup from your hotel or Cusco’s historic center between 4:00 a.m. and 4:30 a.m., to begin an unforgettable journey south of Cusco, crossing Andean landscapes at dawn.
- We arrive at the village of Cusipata after approximately two hours of travel, where you’ll enjoy a comforting breakfast with local products to start the day with energy.
- We continue for another 40 minutes until we reach 4,000 meters above sea level, the starting point of the hike. From there, we begin a two-hour hike surrounded by majestic mountains, fresh air, and tranquility.
- We reach the iconic Rainbow Mountain, also known as Vinicunca or Rainbow Mountain, located at 5,036 meters above sea level, where you will marvel at its mineral layers of natural hues that create a unique visual spectacle in the world.
- You’ll have time to take photographs, admire the scenery, and enjoy a moment of connection with nature in a quiet and breathtaking setting.
- We begin our return trip with a two-hour walk to the meeting point, where our vehicle will be waiting for you.
- We enjoy an Andean lunch in Cusipata before returning to Cusco, culminating with arrival at your hotel between 4:00 and 4:30 p.m.

- Entrance tickets: For this tour, it is necessary to pay the partial Tourist Ticket, for foreigners (S / 70 Approx. US $ 20) and Qoricancha (S / 15 Approx. US $ 4), and for Peruvians (S / 40 Approx. US $ 10) and Salineras (S / 15 Approx. US $ 4), this can be paid once you arrive at the sites.
