About the Tour
- We begin this unique experience with pickup from your hotel or Cusco’s historic center between 4:00 a.m. and 4:30 a.m., to begin an unforgettable journey south of Cusco, crossing Andean landscapes at dawn.
- We arrive at the village of Cusipata after approximately two hours of travel, where you’ll enjoy a comforting breakfast with local products to start the day with energy.
- We continue for another 40 minutes until we reach 4,000 meters above sea level , the starting point of the hike . From there, we begin a two-hour hike surrounded by majestic mountains, fresh air, and tranquility.
- We reach the iconic Rainbow Mountain , also known as Vinicunca or Rainbow Mountain, located at 5,036 meters above sea level, where you will marvel at its mineral layers of natural tones that form a unique visual spectacle in the world.
- You’ll have time to take photographs , admire the scenery, and enjoy a moment of connection with nature in a quiet and breathtaking setting.
- We begin our return trip with a two-hour walk to the meeting point, where our vehicle will be waiting for you.
- We enjoy an Andean lunch in Cusipata before returning to Cusco, culminating in our arrival at your hotel between 4:00 and 4:30 p.m.
