HUMANTAY LAKE

Start your experience with the pick up at your hotel between 4:45 am to 5:00 am so we start the tour to the Humantay Lagoon, then take a 2-hour trip through beautiful landscapes where we can appreciate in the middle of the route the imposing Salkantay Snow-capped Mountain and the Limatambo Valley, then we will arrive to Mollepata located at 2900 meters above sea level, a small town where we will have a delicious breakfast and then continue our route for about 45 minutes on the road until we reach Soraypampa (3900 meters above sea level), the beautiful views of the mountains and snow-capped mountains will welcome us, our guide will perform a small Andean ritual ceremony to begin walking, then it will be an hour and a half to two hours of climbing approximately until we reach the beautiful Humantay Lagoon (4200 meters above sea level), located on the slopes of the snow-capped mountain of the same name, upon arrival we will have between 40 minutes to an hour to enjoy the tranquility and peace of this place and take our photographs, after having enriched ourselves with such a beautiful experience We will begin the descent back to Soraypampa (approximately an hour’s descent) before our transportation returns us to Mollepata, where a delicious lunch will be waiting for you. We will then return to Cusco (5:30 to 6:00 PM). Due to traffic congestion at this time, the transportation will drop you off near the Plaza de Armas.
