MACHU PICCHU FULL DAY

Our professional team will pick you up very early. At approximately 4:00 am, our transfer will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the train station in Ollantaytambo. From Cusco, we will travel approximately two hours through the Sacred Valley to Ollantaytambo, where we will board the train to Machu Picchu Pueblo (Aguas Calientes). After boarding the train, we will travel for another two hours along the Vilcanota River, enjoying a beautiful landscape with farmland and Inca terraces. Upon arriving at our destination, our guide will be waiting to give us instructions for taking the bus to visit Machu Picchu in Peru. After a 30-minute bus ride along a winding road, we will arrive at the Machu Picchu checkpoint. From here, we will begin our visit to the great citadel, accompanied by our guide, who will explain the most important events and take the best photographs of Machu Picchu. Finally, we’ll arrive at the Machu Picchu sanctuary, where you’ll feel the magic of this ancient site and enjoy the breathtaking view from the Inca citadel. After this unforgettable experience, our guide will begin the two-hour tour to learn more about the history and architecture of this marvelous site. You’ll also learn about the areas into which the citadel was divided, which, despite being isolated, was able to sustain itself. Once the guided tour is over, you’ll be free to enjoy Machu Picchu on your own, taking photographs and exploring the site freely. After experiencing this wonder, you’ll begin the return trip to Aguas Calientes, where you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy lunch. In Aguas Calientes, you’ll discover souvenir shops and have some free time to explore this charming town. We’ll take the train back to Ollantaytambo and then take the minivan to Cusco, near the main square.
